【2014年度参加報告】The 22nd International Conference on Computers in Education

　The 22nd International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE)が，11月30日（日）～12月4日（木）の日程で日本の奈良県新公会堂で開催された．

　今回の会議のテーマは Constructing New Fundamentals of Computers in Education for the Future であった．本会議は例年通り「Artificial Intelligence in Education/Intelligent Tutoring System and Adaptive Learning」「Computer-supported Collaborative Learning and Learning Sciences」「Advanced Learning Technologies, Open Educational Content,and Standards」「Classroom, Ubiquitous and Mobile Technologies Enhanced Learning」「Digital Game and Digital Toy Enhanced Learning and Society」「Technology Enhanced Language Learning」「Practice-driven Research, Teacher Professional Development and Policy of ICT in Education」の7つのサブカンファレンスから構成され，教育におけるICT利用を軸とする広範な領域の発表，議論がなされた．また，各サブカンファレンスのテーマに関連する3件の基調講演と5件の招待講演が設けられるとともに，本会議前のイベントとして1件のチュートリアル，2件のインタラクティブイベント，17件のワークショップ，4組のDoctoral Student Consortiaが開催された．本学からは渡辺博芳教授，佐々木茂准教授，水谷晃三講師，小島一晃助教が参加した．

　一般セッションにおいては渡辺教授が「Study on Pass-Fail Prediction for the National Radiological Technologist Examination by Discriminant Analysis Using Mock Examinations」，水谷講師が「A Study of Student Behavior in Classroom Response Systems」の研究発表を行った．．

　講演では，ATC21s (Assessment and Teaching of 21st-Century Skills)が提唱する21世紀型スキルの教育に関する取り組みや，プロジェクト「ロボットは東大に入れるか」を通じて考える，さらに情報化が進んだ将来の教育のあり方などといったトピックが提起された．一般発表においても，教育学習支援システムとその実践利用を中心として，教育におけるICT利用についての情報交換が行われた．
